My&nbsp; degree consists of Major studies in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Business Management with emphasis on operations and business finances<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minors in Astronomy, Sociology and Computer Sciences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.jwdfla.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/08\/UofM.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-483\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Continuing Education<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Net-G Learning<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I continued my during my employment with United Space Alliance at the Kennedy Space Center. KSC offered a program to its employees called NETg. The National Education Training Group (NETg), a division of Thomson Learning, develops and distributes technology-based training with an emphasis on information technology (IT) subjects. NETg has over 850 self-study IT courses on topics ranging from word processing software to the acquisition of new professional IT skills and certification training.&nbsp; Although currently no longer available, when available, I did achieve advanced certification in the following courses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access PowerPoint)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Microsoft Visio<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adobe Photoshop and Premiere<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Visual Basic and Visual C Programming<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Community Law Enforcement Academy<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>I completed this in August of 2018. the Seminole County Sheriff\u2019s Office&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seminolesheriff.org\/page.aspx?id=39\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Community Law Enforcement Academy<\/a>&nbsp;(CLEA). The Academy is designed to educate the citizens of Seminole County in the concepts and procedures of law enforcement. From here my next step is training for&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.seminolesheriff.org\/page.aspx?id=33\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Citizens on Patrol<\/a>&nbsp;(CoP), (a volunteer program), which I am signed up for in January 2019<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>University Of Maryland I graduated from the&nbsp;University of Maryland&nbsp;in 1980 with a Bachelors of General Studies.
