I graduated from the University of Maryland in 1980 with a Bachelors of General Studies. My degree consists of Major studies in:
- Business Management with emphasis on operations and business finances
- Minors in Astronomy, Sociology and Computer Sciences.

I continued my during my employment with United Space Alliance at the Kennedy Space Center. KSC offered a program to its employees called NETg. The National Education Training Group (NETg), a division of Thomson Learning, develops and distributes technology-based training with an emphasis on information technology (IT) subjects. NETg has over 850 self-study IT courses on topics ranging from word processing software to the acquisition of new professional IT skills and certification training. Although currently no longer available, when available, I did achieve advanced certification in the following courses:
- Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access PowerPoint)
- Microsoft Visio
- Adobe Photoshop and Premiere
- Visual Basic and Visual C Programming
Community Law Enforcement Academy
I completed this in August of 2018. the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office Community Law Enforcement Academy (CLEA). The Academy is designed to educate the citizens of Seminole County in the concepts and procedures of law enforcement. From here my next step is training for Citizens on Patrol (CoP), (a volunteer program), which I am signed up for in January 2019
